Location!! And Santa Maria della Salute view from the bathroom! :) room windows were facing another building so no view :( in room coffee maker is nice!
Our room was on 4th floor with no lift! Room and furniture are very old and tired
We found this hotel had a great location, only minutes walk to San Marco Square and not far from two water bus stops, with an easy walk to Rialto Bridge. The hotel was a good price for Venice and the mini fridge and coffee machine in the room was lovely. The service staff and maids were very friendly.
The hotel itself wasn't particularly easy to find, as the rooms are down a very small alley off a main route. Additionally, the place in which you check in and out is a different hotel in a different location entirely. The room did get noisy as the windows themselves are on the main walking route, and the windows and walls have no sound proofing. No big deal but we did find ear plugs came in handy. Upon check out there was a problem with the payment, as our card hadn't yet been charged. This was fine and sorted on the spot, however we found the reception staff extremely unfriendly with this matter and quite rude.
It was a good discount for this hotel and staying there was cool considering price of 50 euro.
No breakfast, just coffeemachine.
The location of the hotel, very central and close to the main atractions like "Piazza de San Marcos" , "Basilica de San Marcos", "Doge's Palace",...I Consider the hotel a good deal (I've bought the nights with a special discount) so it was an excellent value for the money. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so for some couples that may be a problem. The hotel is clean and comfortable.
Its not a big problem, but you should inform that the check-in its done in the hotel torino, its close to the Ca Perdrocchi (40 meters), but we do have the right to know before purchase.
Very close to Saint Marks Square and closely located to public water bus stations
Hard to find
Great location, very close to San Marco. Staff (from Hotel Torino) was ve helpfull. Given the prives in Venezia its a great choice.
Everyone was very helpful, even before checking in. They thought about every detail in the room which was very comfortable and clean. And the location was really perfect, very close to San Marco. We bought with a generouse promotion so it was budget-friendly.
Except for its central location, we did not like anything about this place (not sure we characterise this place as a hotel in the normal sense). The room was clean but had a bad smell (humidity?).
First of all it is not a separate hotel but a bunch of rooms someone is offering and using the hotel Torino to provide some check in services for. When complaining that the room did not match the description on Booked.net, the Torino receptionist disclaimed any responsibility and said that they had nothing to do with Pedrocchi (the cooperation would anyway stop next month). Strangely enough, all notices in our room bore reference to hotel Torino... The room had a flat screen tv (we did not know they could be so small) but not the kettle that was advised in the description. In essence, a mismatch between price and quality.
Location and comfort of the bedroom
Should be included the breakfast.
The price was great, the room was spacious and the location was excellent. The bed was so comfy. If we ever go back to Venice we will stay here again. The staff was very friendly, spoke English and very helpful with directions and recommendations.
It was hard to find. Just ask for Hotel Torino (where reception is) and people will point you in the right direction.
The design and decoration is lovely, somewhat medieval style, very interesting. The service staff member who helped us get to our room is a very nice gentleman.
Beautiful Venetian style room, great location, about a two minute walk from San Marco Basilica. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they carried my huge 20kg suitcase up three flights of stairs for me!
It is a bit annoying that its reception where you check in and out is at a separate location, only about 60 metres away but still we arrived at night and got a bit lost (as you do in Venice), Ca'Pedrocchi is quite hard to find for someone not used to Venice as its down an alley way, s after finally finding it we then were told we had to go and find hotel Torino to actually check in. The room was well worth the hassle however.
the traditional decor and comfortable feel, the quiet, the well-placed location near sights and restaurants, the warmth on rather cold days
Nothing much to mention but just the location.
Building is very old. Smell of old dirty carpet and smoke reeks in the room. Bedsheets felt dusty and room is very small. No elevator. Not sure how this hotel got 4 stars. Very disappointed.
